DiRaimo Pizzeria: A Culinary Gem in Huntington, NY

I moved to Florida 8 years ago and can’t find good pizza . I used to go there all the time for many, many years. I was in town a few weeks ago and had the best pizza ever. Just like I remember. Still the best.

Di Raimo (duramo) is hands down the best consistent pizza on all of Long Island. When I eat pizza in other areas of the country and I try to explain what the pizza is missing, in terms of the cheese especially, I never have quite the right words. But today we walked in for a slice, I’ll mention here that the guy behind the counter recognized my spouse from when they were in elementary school, and asked “howyadoin?” And the cheese was just absolutely perfect. Creamy, gooey and stretchy, it’s an exquisite and comforting sensation in your mouth. Brings you nostalgia and into the present moment in every bite. Just the best!

I can’t believe the variety and quality of the pizza here! Really, really great pizza! It’s also great that they have their own parking lot. You know how the parking is In Huntington!

We stopped in while we were in long Island. It was so worth the stop. We grabbed two slices of pizza and garlic knots, I believe we ordered the grandma slice (this is not technical name). I had wanted to try the pepperoni version, however i hadn't understood or mixed up telling the person helping us. Regardless this is one of the best slices of pizza ive had! Definitely would go if in the area!

Loyalty has its rewards, and for our family, Di Raimo's has been a reliable place for good clean Italiano food for years! Consistency and a friendly staff are the key ingredients of their secret recipe. We are rather picky about what we eat so fresh ingredients are what we look for. We love the pizza, but these guys also make some of the best meatballs you'll find anywhere, juicy, firm (but not hard), and not saturated with salt. Healthy salads are another of our favorites, and Spaghetti made to order with meat sauce that will tickle your tummy (I like it spicy...just ask and you'll get it your way - any day) It's a great place run by a great family. Try it.... I think you'll get hooked! PS - and for a Healthy Vegan dish, try a big helping of steamed broccoli with sweet red peppers, onion & garlic! ...no oil - JUST PURE ANT-VAMPIRE POWER!! - They make it just the way like it. FIRST the food is amazing almost everything they serve is good second the bathrooms are almost always clean and it’s not too loud inside aswell

Best pizza in Huntington, mb all of LI. Clean, comfortable, no frills neighborhood pizzeria. Strong, solid entrès and sides. Nobody gonna leave hungry!

This long standing pizza place has been a favorite for so many Huntington locals, myself included. Always fresh, hot and served as quickly as possible. The chicken roll is a great value and a meal in itself. Ample seating, nothing fancy, parking is very easy too. Prices are a tiny bit lower then a lot of other places I've been to throughout the Island.
